Eyes & Ears is a newsletter for Disney Cast Members and I can't even believe I am mentioned in their latest article!!! I briefly mentioned the article and got a few lovely Mouseketeers asking where they can see it. My Disney rep Donna was a sweetheart and sent me the clip and I just put the brief part up here to share. Thank you Donna and Disney for bringing even more Pixie Dust into my life!! Forever grateful!!!
"... This year marked our fourth 24 hour day and without a doubt it will not be our last! Guests and Cast Members as well as a few special guests couldn't help but soak in the magic of the day from getting to dress like their favorite characters to seeing their favorite characters in their pajamas while dancing the night away and celebrating the start of summer. But something that makes this event magical is the friendships we see form by our guests meeting for the first time online or at a dance party. It's a truly rewarding feeling to see it happen, and even more rewarding when we too take away new friendships from these events. One of our new pals is a radio personality from NY, but we are convinced Christina Kay is really from an enchanted forest just past Fantasyland. Christina rocked her Disney side with a blue Belle dress, an infectious smile and a Mouseketeer style that was so refreshing to see. As a Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Passholder who has skipped through many Disney events, this DJ ranks this towards the top of her Disney memory list. "To get to spend a full day in my favorite place all dressed up with my Mouseketeers is a dream come true," she says while beaming ear to ear. Christina Kay seems to do it all from being an on air personality and voice over artist to being a blogger and a consultant for a popular Disney line. Christina's proudest project is her Disney radio show, Mouseketeer Radio. Her nickname "CK" is a word you may hear on Long Island often and something we heard a lot during the 24 hour event. "I'm blown away by the amount of people who know who I am today... Mouseketeers are the best! I am living a dream today! Crossing off things on my Disney bucket list, which is rare for me, and just having a blast being myself and just frolicking. Plus the company is not bad either," she laughs while Eeyore walks towards her at The Crystal Palace. "Look at this stud, how could you not smile?" And smiling is something we saw her do all day at dance parties, taking pictures with listeners and characters and just as she said "frolicking" down Main Street. We couldn't help smile meeting this new Disney Princess. "
OMG right?! So amazing! I guess I did smile a little... ok a lot! Check out the fun again HERE
The article also talks about Dove Cameron from Disney Channel, Radio Disney's Ernie D and some other guests... quite the company!
Have A Disney Day!

The Mickey Marquee Review:
Finally got to check out ANT Man and I give it 5/5!!! 5 STARS BABY!!!
It had everything... A great plot and characters, humor, action, surprises and kept your attention the whole movie. Being me I did a little poll for those in my theater after the movie and no one gave it a bad review. I don't want to ruin anything but this movie will be liked by both true Marvel junkies and those who have never seen a Marvel movie before.. although it always helps.
If you haven't seen it yet please do yourself a favor and check it out... oh and stay for 2 clips and the end! That's right there's a follow up for the next Ant Man movie and The Captain America movie at the end of the longer credits!!
Up next? Well Disney's Descandant's on Disney Channel and then....

Coming Soon To A Theater Near You
So much buzz on what's happening when it comes to Disney Live Action films and this is the official list of what is on the way...
The Sword In The Stone- All we know so far is that the screenplay is currently being produced by Game of Thrones Writer/ Producer
Pete's Dragon- Scheduled to hit theaters August 12, 2016 and starring Oakes Fegley, Oona Laurence, Bryce Dallas Howard, Karl Urban and Robert Redford.
Dumbo- Tim Burton's Blend of CGI animation and live action "masterpiece" has no details yet but that alone has us nervous!
Alice Through The Looking Glass- Set to hit the big screen next year, the original Tim Burton cast will be returning plus Sacha Baron Cohen
Pinocchio- While many are skeptical about this live action maybe the casting of Geppetto will make you feel a little better... Robert Downey Jr!!!
Maleficent 2- No word on casting or too much yet but if it's anything like the first I'm in!
Cruella- Ok Villains are definitely the big thing right now but how could we forget the 96 live action film with Glen Close... Hopefully she makes the return for this movie!! (Ps how much did you love the Cruella in Once before she went psycho)
Winnie The Pooh- Hasn't really been talked about too much yet but has potential... maybe?! The film is supposed to star Christopher Robin as an adult and going back to The Hundred Acre Woods... as long as it's not like Return to Oz!
Beauty And The Beast- According to Josh Gad's instagram that's a wrap on filming but there's still so much to be done! I'm still nervous but I also have time to let it simmer, the film will hit the big screen on March 17, 2017 (aka Will's Birthday)
Mulan- Another one I'm nervous about! No casting rumors yet but Disney fans have made a petition that an Asian Actress portray Mulan... I Vote Jamie Chung (and she would be familiar with the role after ONCE)
The Jungle Book- While the movie has an all star cast Christopher Walken as King Louie is a tad nerve-racking! And we don't have a long wait for this half CGI half Live Action film... April 2016
Tink- Reese Witherspoon is going to be an amazing Tink!! No other details including plot or schedule but this one has a lot of potential!
Prince Charming- We've talked about this one on the show and I fully support it! The movie will be based on the brother of Prince Charming who didn't exactly live up to the family name.
Genie- May not be the best timing wise on this one plus how can you have Genie without Robin Williams! The film is set to be a prequel on Aladdin and shows how the Genie well to stuck in the bottle. It will feature a whole realm of Genies and will set the path for an eventual remake of an Aladdin live action film.
The Night on Bald Mountain- Before you get confused let me explain... Night on Bald Mountain is a scene from Fantasia and features that character that gives you the creeps and was featured in Spectromagic, The Chernabog! I'm sensing a Halloween release?!
So which are you looking forward to or are nervous about?!

Welcome Home!
Alright my DVC friends this update is for you!!!
Everyone is speculating what the next project will be now that we are almost done with The Polynesian Villas and it looks like we are staying in the Magic Kingdom Area with expansions on The Villas at Disney Wilderness Lodge!
Permits and Plans have been filed for 26 Waterside Villas- one story villas located along Bay Lake. The villas will be similar to The Bora Bora villas at Poly but not literally on the water.
Also included in these plans are new restaurants, recreation amenities including new pools and refurbishments and enhancements on current pools.
Also in DVC news Disney Vacation Club Vera Bradley Bags will be released on Monday 7/6!!! I know my mom is getting one of these beauties! You can still get some other DVC goodies at disneystore.com too!
