Disney and Vans and Secrets OH MY

My name is Christina and I have a Disney shopping problem...

And apparently I'm not the only one!!

The Disney Vans line is selling out fast and I can totally see why! I have bought 2 pairs and already thinking about my next! 

I bought the Multi Princess and Winnie The Pooh!

And coolest part... you know aside from being Disney Vans but they have HIDDEN MICKEYS!!!

SO BRILLIANT!!! Some styles are limited edition so get them while you can!! Oh and did I mention it's not just shoes but clothes and accessories too?! Look for my sister rocking this Donald backpack this fall in WDW! 

Seriously so adorable!! Disney and Vans have Mickey, Minnie, Fab 5, Donald, Winnie The Pooh, Ariel, Jasmine, Multi Princess, Belle, and Villains, Hawaiin Disney (last 2 only available at Journeys) AND OMG The amazing staff of Vans at The Smithaven Mall (shootouts to my fellow Disney nerd Katie) let me in on an exclusive secret for my mouseketeers!!! Coming this fall an all new Disney line... You know I got you covered as soon as I can let you know!!!

Disney Update 6/7/2015

Disney headlines for the week....

Movies:

August 18th we will have a collection of our favorite Disney shorts (not the Pixar shorts) on Blu Ray!!! From Frozen Fever to Tangled Ever After and Get A Horse!!!! This is so exciting!!!

The new live action remake of Beauty and The Beast will feature some new songs... gulp!! I just keep telling myself it's Alan Menken though...

And something else that may make you a tad nervous but excited about... Disney is also working on a Sister Act remake! The writers of Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You and She's the Man are tackling this one but that's really the only details we have right now.

Girl Meets World is doing great in it's second season and things are about to get even more interesting as we will see a reunion of Shawn and Angela.... yup that's happening!! Apparently the ending may not make us the happiest but it will be nice to see them together and how it all plays out! PS Chet, Jack, Mr. Turner and Rachel are set to make appearances this season as well... YAY!! (said like Cory of course)


Tangled the TV Series!!! Yup true story! Oh and best part Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will be reprising their roles as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider... cue the smolder!  The show will take place between the ending of the movie and Tangled Ever After. Tangled premieres on Disney Channel in 2017... I will set my DVR!

24 Hour Rock Your Disney Side Event

We are back from The Happiest Place on Earth and can't wait to tell you all about our adventures.

Hands down our favorite was Magic Kingdom's kick off to summer event.. 24 HOURS IN MAGIC KINGDOM aka the best day of my life!!!

Between meeting and hanging out with our amazing mouseketeers, special 24 hour events, characters, attractions and 24 hours of costumes, smiles and fun it was really the perfect day!

Disney Dining

One of my favorite things to do in Disney is eat :)

Disney has so many unique dining options and we checked out some epic ones this trip! 

First stop... Breakfast at Ohana's!!!

I have wondered what is behind the Ohana waiting room area for as long as I can remember and finally I got to check it out!!! We didn't wait long for our table but the wait was nice because of the cast member who did trivia with everyone waiting... I'm a sucker for Disney trivia!!! 

When our party was called a cast member greeted us with a basket of different breads that were delicious!! The cinnamon raisin and pineapple were my favorites! 

Then with in a matter of minutes fruit platters and a skillet of mickey (and stitch) waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and breakfast potatoes arrived at our table! I'm used to buffets where you go up and get what you want so this family style was different.  It was nice not having to go up and get your food while worrying if you are going to miss any characters.  

Speaking of characters... They were adorable! Mickey and Pluto in Hawain outfits and of course Lilo and Stitch were there as well and caused so much trouble which was adorable!!!

We had another character breakfast this trip as well.... Crystal Palace at The Magic Kingdom! The selection was amazing and yes we did go up many times! 

My friend John loved Pooh's Puffed French Toast and I loved the omelette station, potatoes and fruit that I've yet to find at the other buffets! 

We went the day of the 24 hour event so it was priceless... the characters are great too and each came by our table twice!! All our friends from the hundred acre wood came to have breakfast with us (check them out in our video of the event https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipXDRLVzi8w )

We also got the dining plan this trip which was perfect!!! We took advantage of the quick service meals as well... From lunch at Be Our Guest to Mexico and the resorts I highly recommend it!!!

WCWP Does Epcot

Hocus Pocus Comes To Disney World?!

I know it's summer but I'm already thinking of Halloween... Ok let me explain!

Disney announced this week a new show for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it features everyone's favorite evil sisters... THE SANDERSON SISTERS!!

It's not just them but they join a cast of very villainous characters! It's "the best, evil Halloween party this side of the graveyard," running Sept 15- Nov 1 at Mickey's Not So Scary and you can still get your tickets now... so don't wait!! I will be there!

PS don't forget Tina Fey is writing a sequel for Hocus Pocus!!!
