With the growth of the park Magic Kingdom is in need of another table service restaurant. Think about.. how many times have you tried to get a reservation near this classic park. From the park itself to the resorts around it... if you're not online booking at the 180 day mark there's a good chance you won't be dining in style.
Ok... what am I getting at?! Well with the enormous success of the Be Our Guest Restaurant rumors are flying around about a similar type of restaurant. Aside from being right in the middle of my favorite Disney movie and dining with The Beast himself one of the most popular things about this must do is it's design... and I don't mean the interior... although I can cry thinking about how beautiful it is!
The Be Our Guest Restaurant is quick service for lunch and table service for dinner. After testing this out and now trying out a breakfast feature there Disney is looking to do this yet again. This time we're are headed to Adventureland.
I know what you're thinking not much room in that MK land... or is there?!
Rumor has it Disney is looking to build a Jungle Cruise themed restaurant! Disney has filed a permit in that area so this could be truer than you think! The charm of the attraction will most likely carry over in the restaurant! Corny skippers as waiters... tropical menu... a jungle interior to match the ride... an exclusive view of the back side of water?!?!?!
The restaurant is rumored to be called Skipper's Cantina and could open as early as November 2015! Let me know so I can book for my December trip!
